Absolutely! We do not charge any corkage for you to provide your own drinks up until 8:30pm.
With a capacity of up to 135, the Meadow Barn and Courtyard are licensed to hold civil marriages and partnerships.
We have a total of seven guest bedrooms and our suite, just a stone’s throw away from the barns, each accommodating two adults in each room. Please note, these rooms are booked through our couples and we do not take direct bookings for these.
We can accommodate up to six children across all bedrooms however, we do not have beds or linen for them so their legal guardians will need to bring these along.
There’s plenty of choice for your guests to stay locally, with B&Bs and guesthouses right on our doorstep. Bigger hotels are also just a 10-minute drive away in Chichester.
Our events team are on hand every step of your planning journey! Upon booking, your dedicated account manager will be in touch to talk you through the next steps, including putting a timeline together, assisting with supplier recommendations and discussing your menu.
An event manager will be with you from start to finish on your wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly and that you can sit back, relax and enjoy your day!
As standard, access to the barns for yourselves and your suppliers is from 10:00am on the morning of your wedding. The suite and first guest bedroom are available from 11:00am for the wedding parties to finish getting ready. All guest bedrooms are available from 1:00pm.
We love to see your furry friends involved in your day, whether that be for photographs or to be your ring bearer! We do, however, ask that they are with us for a maximum of three hours as it can be tiring having all of your favourite people in one place, at one time!
Dogs will need to be kept on a lead and have someone with them at all times to ensure the safety of the livestock in the surrounding fields.
Should you wish to have a civil ceremony here at Farbridge, you will need to be in touch with West Sussex County Council to book your registrars to conduct your ceremony.
We recommend ensuring that the registrars have availability for your preferred date and time before securing Farbridge for your special day.
You will also need to be in touch with your own local council, to give your notice of marriage around a year prior to your wedding.
Alternatively, you can have a celebrant conduct your ceremony if you are wishing to have a personalised ceremony. Just know, that this is not a legal ceremony.
2:00pm is the earliest ceremony time that we can accommodate here at Farbridge.
We have a variety of ceremony options here at Farbridge including our beautiful courtyard space, with the rolling hills of the South Downs as a backdrop for your wedding photos.
We highly recommend that couples secure wedding insurance to ensure that all eventualities are covered.
Your suppliers are welcome to use drones to capture ariel images and videos of your wedding day. They will just need to provide us with the relevant insurances ahead of your wedding day.
You can absolutely use candles in and around the venue, we just ask that these are in suitable holders such as lanterns, votives or candlestick holders.
Candles lining the aisle, must be fully enclosed to avoid any incidents with wedding dresses or veils!
We kindly ask that all confetti is made of real petals, fresh or dried. To let you know, confetti is only permitted to be used in the Meadow Barn.
All areas of the venue are accessible for wheelchair users with ramps available for those areas with steps. There is an accessible toilet located in the Lavant Valley barn and an allocated parking space within our car park.
Unfortunately, our guest bedrooms have not yet been adapted for guests using wheelchairs.
If you need any assistance, please ask a member of the team.
We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards on our bar.
Due to the livestock located in the surrounding fields, sadly, we are unable to accommodate fireworks here at Farbridge with the exception of 05th November and New Year’s Eve.
Sparklers make for beautiful photographs as night begins to fall and you are most welcome to enjoy these with your nearest and dearest however, these do need to be used in the car park rather than the courtyard. We recommend purchasing the extra-long ones for the best photos.
Last orders for any drinks are at 11:15pm with the bar closing at 11:30pm.
Our license allows for music to be played until 11:30pm. We recommend that guests pre-book taxis and are off-site by midnight.
Cars can be left here with us overnight; we just ask that cars are collected by 11:00am the following morning.
