Grace, we genuinely cannot thank you, Simon and all the Farbridge team enough for just the most wonderful day. John and I sat together at the end of the night - just completely gobsmacked at how amazing everything was. Absolutely everything was perfect, and all of our guests have said so as well.
The storage of our decorations with you days prior was just brilliant - and being able to walk into the barn the morning of the wedding, already beautifully decorated, was just so incredible. Everything had been laid out exactly as we envisioned it, and it was just perfect. My sister was setting up the cake, sending messages to say ‘the venue looked incredddible’ which was just so exciting to receive.
I cannot tell you how many people said on the night, and have messaged us since, to say that the food was the best wedding food they had ever had. It was completely - stunning! The sea bream was absolutely divine!! - and if it would be at all possible - I would love to have the champagne and lobster veloute recipe to try and re-create for John at home! Everyone raved about it and it truly set the tone for the rest of the courses.The lamb was absolutely delicious, with so much flavour - and the white chocolate ‘rose’ pudding was a masterpiece. My mum cried when it arrived at the table, and it was so beautifully assembled. Simon, thank you so much for bringing that picture to life for us.
Even down to the table service, where it was very much noticed that each table was served every course impeccably. Plates delivered in symphony, to the whole table, was just wonderful to watch. It caused a real buzz with the guests and was exactly the dining experience we could have ever wished for. Taking that 10 minutes out of the day, to sit and have canapés alone to try in our room was wonderful. I had managed to grab a fish and chip skewer whilst in the courtyard, but I hadn't tried the rest, so this was absolutely great, and every single one was spectacular. The seaweed had rave reviews from multiple guests. Again, the evening food being available in the room at the end of the night was wonderful. We were able to sit and take in the whole day whilst enjoying fried chicken - absolutely nothing better than that!
And then the facilities themselves - are just spectacular. We always knew from our first visit to Farbridge what a beautiful and special place it was. Just a perfect size to host an event, with the sweet bedrooms lining the courtyard and the barns. But when experiencing it on the day, it was just beyond wonderful. The car entry at the end of the courtyard was just brilliant, with the champagne tower upon arrival. Everything was just completely seamless. We genuinely feel like we have walked away and would not change a single thing. We really did have the best day, and for that we just cannot thank you enough.
And lastly - Grace, thank you so much for your impeccable planning and help with everything! It was just so settling to have someone so talented looking after us, all the way from start to finish! Everything had been so well thought of and considered, and we genuinely couldn't thank you enough. Yourself and Imogen running the day was absolutely flawless, and very much noted by guests how effortlessly the day flowed. Even the slight change to the schedule for the sparklers was so well thought out. Thank you just so so much for looking after all of us so beautifully. Many thanks Becky
